but who is huckleberry, rrrreally?

Ever seen this?

That’s really not who I am, but I’ve been working at this exceptional place called Bradbury’s in Madison. (http://www.bradburyscoffee.com/) It has provided an excellent extra dimension to my otherwise obediently stereotypical nature. I was born in Waukesha, WI and grew up in the town of Mukwonago. Somehow, I caught the Jazz juju early on and have sought improvisational arts ever since. I myself am a culturally irrelevant avant garde musician, a haphazard painter, and an abyssmal writer. Somewhere between Duende and the Tao you can find my soul dancing to Hindustani Ragas and aspiring to accidentally, one day, master Japanese ink painting.

My B.M. in Music Performance on the classical guitar from the University of Wisconsin – Madison allowed me the fantastic experience studying abroad in Granada, Espana for a brief jaunt which I employed rather obsessively as a tool to apprehend the compas of flamenco culture. Now, I move to Caceres in Extremadura, Espana as an English teaching assistant and that experiment, friends, you’ll just have to read about in the ongoing narrative that will become, The Adventures of Huckleberry Grimm.
